Also in Gadgetstani Terror Squad currently with some rl friends currently practicing ICC progression, up to Blood Council atm. A lot are quitting / transferring looking for other raiding opportunities.

Previous Raid Experience

[What noteworthy things have you done in a raiding environment? Have you played other MMOs? What have you taken out of those experiences?] Have not played any other MMO's aside from WoW. I do however have raid experience all the way through every raid save ICC. Raided on a Warrior Tank and Resto druid up through naxx in vanilla WoW and as a Mage up through BT and Sunwell in TBC with Ropetown on horde side this server.

Theorycrafting

[How do you go about selecting the gear you use? What do you do in raids to maximize your output? What sources do you use when researching your class mechanics?]

As a tank I simply try to maximize my health now that I have my avoidance stats maxed out. I have 2 maxxed professions that are focused towards tanking (Mining for +60 stamina and Blacksmithing for the additional sockets). Also am always prepared with flasks and potions of all types. Also have a solid dps gear set and spec if raids ever require me to switch for any encounters. As far as research goes I try to follow top raid progression guilds using mmo-champion.com and looking into their top raiders specs / gear / professions etc. Also use tankspot frequently to familiarize myself with new encounters in order to be properly prepared.

Full time college student in Virginia, work as a server / bartender full time as well. Starting next semester as a junior, going for my 4 year degree in English Literature / Journalism. Eventually looking to get into game review journalism, ie game informer etc, so have always been an avid gamer and very intersted in both PC / Console games. Have been with Blizzard since WC1 on dos. Avid pvper as well as pve. Ran my mage to gladiator season 1-4 and Vengeful Gladiator 3's in season 3.

Okay so first off as moof said your app does seem pretty well done, actually took the time to fill it out decently
second, the gearing we need to go with as DK's has changed since ICC hit . Its all about the armors, you do have good avoidance stats they are jsut under mine ^____^ and your health is about 1k above mine, However, Your armor is almost 3k behind mine, and our healers have a hard time as it is trying to heal me on some fights just because we get hit so hard right now(3.3.3 WotN buff oh yeah) the only thing we need to care/gear for is Armor and HP avoidance is nice but we need to balance out the hits we DO take to be a minimum,

Seeing as how we do also have an active Dk tank(o hi) im not sure what the officers would like to go with here, but this is just my 2 cents gl hopefully officers will be in here shortly

Appreciate the feedback. I do have some trinkets I could switch out to bridge the armor gap. Also hoping to get an unidentifiable organ sooner or later, thats almost 2k right there.

App doesn't look bad, however we currently have 3 tanks that we are fairly satisfied with. A warrior,pally, and dk. If we were to add another to our roster you would be like the backup of the backup. Most fights only require two tanks, so we already have one sitting on stuff that isn't Marrowgar/deathwhisper/putricide.

I'd still be willing to join if I would only be a replacement as you said. Was wondering if you guys had multiple 10 man groups running maybe I could raid in a backup or non core team until more opportunities became available.

We currently have a ten man working on hard modes and theres another group completely capable just in need of a tank.

Definitely, the only thing stopping our other ten man group from doing well is a 2nd quality tank. But yeah as for 25 mans go you'd be backup, and we could probably get you in for some bosses other tanks don't need. I think its an OK idea, I'll see what other people say first though.
